Local 488 Annual Poker Tournament
We hope you’ve been practicing your poker face 😎; the Annual Local 488 Poker Tournament is just around the corner! After last year’s great turnout, we’re excited to bring everyone together once again for an afternoon of cards, competition, and camaraderie ♣️♥️♦️♠️
🎲 Tournament Details:
📅 Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026
📍 Location: Yellowhead Casino (12464 153 Street NW, Edmonton)
💰 Entry Fee: $130.00
🃏 What to Expect:
- 2:00 PM ➡️ Cards in the air
- Top 5 payouts
- Winner takes home the trophy
- Cardholder for every player
- Plenty of prizes
- $20.00 food & drink refund for all players
⏰ Important Registration Information:
- Registration deadline: 3:00 PM on March 13, 2026
- Players must be registered in advance to participate
- Payment in full is required at registration
- No refunds after March 13, 2026
- Spouses are welcome to join (please make a second registration with their name matching the members UA card number)

On March 14, 2026, voting will take place in person at the Local Union 488 Dispatch Hall between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The ballots will be counted on Monday, March 16, 2026, and the results will be posted on the Local Union 488 website (local488.ca) by end of day Tuesday, March 17, 2026
