On March 14, 2026, voting will take place in person at the Local Union 488 Dispatch Hall between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The ballots will be counted on Monday, March 16, 2026, and the results will be posted on the Local Union 488 website (local488.ca) by end of day Tuesday, March 17, 2026
The Election Committee shall subsequently email full and concise instructions as prescribed by the United Association General Office which shall include a ballot which will be emailed to you on or before Friday, February 13, 2026.E-voting results will be compiled by the third-party e-vote provider (Becker Keating & Young Technologies Corp) and will be cut off at 9:00AM on Friday, March 6, 2026. Results will be posted on the Local 488 website by March 6, 2026.
