Important Message from our PAC

Dear Members,

At our recent listening campaign, the membership expressed a strong desire to support other unions and participate in initiatives that strengthen the labor movement. In alignment with this commitment, we are sharing two important letter campaigns from the WBDLC and CLC.

Please see the following posts to learn more and take action if you choose. Your solidarity matters in advocating for the rights of unionized workers everywhere.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our collective strength.

In solidarity,

UA Local 488 PAC

Support CUPE Locals 2545 and 2559 in their fight against Bee-Clean, a company undermining union workers on the picket line.

Our Support Workers Deserve Better campaign is live! To hold Bee-Clean accountable, please participate by filling out the form and sending a pre-drafted email.

Please support CUPW and 55,000 postal workers fighting for a fair deal. For over 150 years, Canada Post has been a vital public service, but it is now under threat from privatization, job losses, and service cuts.

Join us in standing with postal workers to protect and strengthen this essential service. Send a message to decision-makers by using this campaign link:

Please share widely and encourage others to take action! Together, we can preserve Canada Post for future generations.

Join us for a FREE Community Skate & Supper on Sunday, December 22, from 3:30–6 PM at Centerfire Place! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for skating, great food, and community fun.

This is a chance to connect, build relationships, and show how unions bring people together. We’ll also have a sign-up sheet for anyone interested in learning more about our work.

If you can attend or support—whether by helping out, spreading the word, or just showing up—it would mean a lot.

Hope to see you there for a memorable afternoon!
