1️⃣     Family Movie Night at Norm Darbyshire Dispatch Hall

📅 Date: April 19th, 2024                                                                               

🕕 Time: Doors open at 6:00 PM

🎁 Enjoy door prizes, a thrilling piñata, challenges, and fun games!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Open to family and friends of our members

🥤 Pop, juice, snacks, and popcorn will be provided

🛒 We’ll also be collecting non-perishable items for Edmonton’s Food Bank

2️⃣    Cinema Movie Day at Cineplex Manning Town Center

📅 Date: May 25th, 2024

⏰ Time: 1:00 PM

💳 Once registered, members have 48 hours to complete payment- etransfer or cash/credit/debit/cheque at main reception (for etransfers: make sure to include the event “Movie Day” , how many tickets required, and the members UA Card # in the memo line.)

📧 Expect a confirmation email upon registration, which you’ll need to show at the event to pick up your tickets

Exciting News for Local 488 Members!

Get ready for a splashing good time at the West Edmonton Mall Waterpark on March 9, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm! To enhance your experience, we’ve introduced an online registration system for ticket purchases. Simply click the provided link below to secure your spot. Tickets are $20.00 each, with a maximum purchase of 10 per member. Children 2 and under are free, and do not need to be registered as they do not require a ticket. On the event day, collect your tickets by presenting the confirmation email or your union card. For those unable to attend, designate a family member and inform us via email. With a limit of 1000 tickets, it’s first-come, first-served, so register early! Payments can be made via e-transfer or at our hall, ensuring to add “WEM Waterpark” and your Members UA Card # in the memo line. Your cooperation is key to making these events fantastic for everyone. Local 488 is now hosting a raffle for our Make A Wish Heroes challenge! Below are listed 3 main prizes and 1 early bird prize! The early bird prize is 4 tickets to the Oilers Vs the Capitals in the Sportsnet Club!

The Sportsnet Club is a two-level club sitting directly above the lower bowl on the east end of the building, providing a similar social space as a sports bar but with an enhanced, all-inclusive food and (non-alcholic) beverage service.
