Practical Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)
This course is designed to instruct welders to be effective and efficient SAW operators. The course will teach basic and intermediate techniques in set up and trouble shooting,
loading spools, wire feed roots and welding from start to finish. Every student will be evaluated on the complete welding of coupons.
PPE Requirement: CSA boots, leather gauntleted gloves, safety glasses and long sleeved natural fiber shirt. Welding helmet recommended.

REQUIRED BOOKS: Extra Cost
PRE-REQUISITE: Must be a second period welder apprentice. A
minimum of two (2) registered students are required.
