The Industrial Rigging (EPRI) Rigging course is designed to certify journeyperson members about the complexities of working safely as rigging specialists. Members interested in taking this course need a strong rigging background, with at least three to five years of experience.

Please note that this is a certification course and not a training course.

To obtain certification, journeypersons must complete:

  1. A 120 questions, 150 minute computer generated exam with a minimum grade of 80%.
  2. Practical testing could occur into the following week depending on number of students

PPE Requirement: CSA boots, leather gauntleted gloves, safety glasses and a long sleeved natural fiber shirt.

Registration for EPRI Rigging programs will commence four (4) weeks before the start date of each class and registration will close two (2) weeks prior to the start date of each class.
