Brothers and Sisters: Due to the COVID-19 virus the final results of the Committee Elections were delayed. The Local took the highest safety precautions in ensuring these ballots were counted fairly. Local 496 Business Manager Trevor Robertson and Local 488 Business Manager Rod McKay have a friendly provincial rivalry going between Locals for the Battle of Alberta! The losing city’s Local will donate $1000 to the winning city’s charity of choice and the losing Business Manager will wear the winning city’s Jersey for the day!
The Entertainment Committee would like to invite you all to their annual family picnic on June 4th at the Valley Zoo! Bring the family down and enjoy the day at the Zoo! Registration cut off is May 20 so please spread the word!
We are pleased to announce that our 2022 downhand course has been a big success! The 10 candidates have been working diligently since April 25 and will conclude with a X-Ray test of their progress. The course will continue until May 20th with the pipeline yard reopening to all who wish to practice May 24th.
